Larry Hamilton

Larry Hamilton, 73 of Ocilla passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at Irwin County Hospital. Larry was born October 21, 1950 in  Adel to the late William Wesley Hamilton & Ola Mae James Hamilton. He loved the Lord and loved helping his friends and family when he could. Larry always tried to take care of his family. He got great enjoyment in raising and taking care of his chickens and going fishing. 

Survivors include his sisters, Carolyn Delaney of FL, Mary Hamm of Moultrie, Linda May of Moultrie, Debbie Kent of Moultrie, Becky Craven of Moultrie, Christy Friar of Adel, and Barbara Mims of Hartsfield; several nieces & nephews; and a best friend that was like a brother, Jerry Youghn of Ocilla. Larry was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Hamilton, Bonnie Selph, Sandy Clark, and Donna Hamilton. 

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at China Grove Church Cemetery.
