Mr. Clements A. Taylor, 64 of Douglas passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at Cook Medical Center. Mr. Taylor was born July 7, 1948 to the late Ernest Taylor and Nora Duren. He was employed with Aamco Fabrics before retiring and was a member of Gordon Ave Baptist Church. Survivors include his two brothers, Bobby Taylor of Sparks and Tony Taylor of Lake City, Fl.; one sister, Linda Southerland of Adel. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Smith, and Carolyn DeHoff. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Lawton Watson officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex. Serving as active pallbearers were James Griffin, Steve Register, Hunter Scruggs, Jeff Mob, Walter Ahrens, Lee Taylor, and Brian Shaw. Music selections were, "Go Rest High On That Mountain", "Amazing Grace", and "I'm Really Going To Miss You."
